Market intelligence analyst

This is what you'll do

As a Market Intelligence Analyst, you will support our traders with up-to-date market information. You will analyze geopolitical developments and macroeconomic trends and translate them quickly into clear insights. What does a decision by Trump mean for our dairy trade? How do rising retail prices affect demand? You’ll figure it out and communicate the results to your colleagues.

On one hand, you’ll tackle ad-hoc questions that come up during our weekly Monday morning meeting. You will dive into databases, analyze trade flows, and be the first to spot trends in volumes and retail figures. On the other hand, you’ll structure existing, recurring market data and provide valuable insights to the traders. Thanks to you, assumptions are put aside, and our results are improved based on facts.

Do you have what it takes?

You are curious, commercially minded, and sharp. You enjoy diving into data and translating numbers and trends into clear insights. You work in a structured and analytical way, and communicate your findings clearly to your colleagues, both verbally and in writing. Switching between tasks quickly? No problem! You base your decisions on facts and follow through. And of course, with a touch of Brabant humor. 

Also important:

    • You have at least a higher professional education (HBO) level.
    • You speak and write good English and are proficient in Microsoft Excel.
    • Knowledge of data platforms like Power BI and Python is a plus but not a must.
